The Cricket Board of Maldives will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 9 March 2009 at the Seminar Room of the Youth Centre. Pursuant to the AGM notice, CBM invites nominations for new members, and nominations for 3 positions vacant in the Executive Committee. Members are invited to send in nominations before 4 March. The AGM will deliberate on the CBM 2009 Annual Report, 2009 Audit report and vote on nominations for CBM membership and Executive Committee membership.

Maldives U19 cricketers are reaching the end of their preparations for the 2010 SAF Games to be held in Bangladesh at the end of the January. They are presently in Sri Lanka training and playing practice matches with Sri Lankan school teams.
