A new Coaches Committee was elected on Monday afternoon. All current employed coaches were eligible to be elected to take the 4 remaining seats in the Committee.
After the ballot papers were counted, the following members were elected: Saudan Ibrahim (12 votes), Nilantha Cooray (10 votes), Ibrahim Ali (6 votes), & Shafraz Jaleel (12 votes).

1. Coaches committee
(a) This committee consist of one from the main committee, Two from CBM Level 1 and level 2 two coaches. They will be elected throughout the registered coaches and with the 4 ones with the most votes. The chairman will be elected from among them.
(b) Responsibilities of the coaches committee are mentioned below.
i) Their cooperation on all the cricket activities and preparing and encouraging the players.
ii) Keeping the registration of the coaches. Therefore the registration must include the name, address and the duration as a coach.
iii) Conducting courses to increase the number of coaches in Maldives.
iv) Conducting refreshment courses for the coaches by cooperating development committee.
v) Creating a structure of work for the next year before the end of the running year.
vi) Suggesting coaches for the teams.
