Dhirham won the Ramadan Cricket Carnival Company Tournament beating Equivalent by 46 runs.
The tournament was postponed due to COVID restrictions midway through Ramadan.

MTCC TEAM B v CLUB FEN
Officials – Adam Nasif, Aiham Ziyadh and Rassam Rasheed.
MTCC B team won the toss and elected to bat first. It was not a good start for MTCC B team loosing 4 wickets for under 10 runs, but Suraj Shankar came to the rescue scoring just one run short of a half century taking the team total to 103 runs.
In reply, Club Fen was very poor in their batting, Mohamed Dhaisam was the only man to score 10 runs or more.
Nadhagopal and Suraj Shankar sharing 2 wickets each.
MTCC B won the match by 11 runs.
JOLLY BOYS v CONTECH PVT LTD
Officials – Adam Nasif, Aiham Ziyadh and Rassam Rasheed.
Jolly Boys won the toss and elected to bat first. It was raining boundaries here in Ekuveni as 150 was the total score without losing any wickets. Kasun Madushika 31, Mohamed Ahkam 31 and Arul pragash 36
runs.
In reply, Contech’s two openers tried to go for it but the bowling was too good from Jolly Boy’s side.
Ahmed Hassan 31 and Yoosuf Azyan 32 runs.
Ravindhu is the only one taking a wicket.
Jolly boys won by 62 runs.

LANKA DIESEL SERVICES v RIYAN
Riyan produced one of the lowest totals of the month as they collapsed to 57/7 off 8 Overs. No batsman reached double figures.
Tharaka Madumal bagged himself 3 wickets and a brace for Sampath Muthukuda.
In reply, LDS galloped to the win in 3.1 Overs – with the help of 30 extras.
LDS won by 6 Wickets.
EQUIVALENT LINE PVT LTD v MTCC TEAM A
Both openers fell early for Equivalent Line as they batted first. Savindra Manju Sri top scored with 27 as his team reached 92/7 from 8 Overs.
Pick of the bowlers was Monoo Prasad with 3 for 13 runs from 2 Overs.
In reply, MTCC A couldnt get going as wickets fell reguarly. Moorthy Sevan was the only batsman to make more than 8 runs. The MTCC A team reached 79/6.
Equivalent Line PVT Ltd won by 13 runs.

FRIENDS MALDIVES PVT LTD v AG MELCO ELEVATOR MALDIVES
Friends batted first and blitzed one of the highest totals off 8 Overs ever seen in Maldives.
177 blitzed by Jayaweera Arachchilage, Siridaran Selvandan and Rodrigo Kodimarakkalage all scoring 30+. Shameem even chipped in with 29. In total, 13 6s were hit.
In Reply, AG Melco Elevator Maldives CO.PVT LTD only managed to score 13 runs from the bat as they crawled to 45 runs for 6 wickets lost from their 8 Overs. Super bowling from Friends, Kumasiri of note, only giving away 2 runs in 2 Overs.
Friends Maldives Pvt Ltd won by 132 runs.
DHIRHAM TRADING v MALÉ WARRIORS
Dhirham opened the batting in this match with a strong 117/4 from 8 Overs. Jashim Uddin was in the runs scoring 35 from 13 balls. Poor bowling allowed Dhirham to accumulatge 54 extras.
Malé Warriors starte freshly with Mohamed Khasru 31 from 16 balls before retiring. It needed a good middle order performance to push for victory as they needed 56 runs from the last 18 Balls. It was a tall order as they fell 27 runs short.
Dhirham Trading won by 27 runs.

LANKA DIESEL SERVICES v CEYLINCO INSURANCE PVT LTD
LDS powered into victory in this match. Batting first Chamika Yudhantha 31, Vajira Karun 31, and Sampath Dinesh 28 put their team into a strong position by posting 120 off their 8 Overs.
Thushara Jayakody picked up 2 wickets for just 5 runs.
In reply, the Insurance boys, couldnt get out of first gear. Mohamed Shiyam scored 29 from 13 balls as his team mates fell all around him – 7 wickets for just 11 runs.
Lanka Diesel Services won by 57 runs.
MTCC TEAM B v EQUIVALENT LINE PVT LTD
Equivalent Line batted first and worked hard to make a serious impact on the bowling lineup. Hassan Mohamed top scored with 31 from 19 balls as his team made a reasonable 112/5 from 8 Overs.
Vijay Kumar walking home with 3 wickets in his pockets.
In reply, MTCC B Team struggled all the way through their innings failing to put any meaningful partnership together as wickets fell.
Good economical bowling from Savindra Manju Sri and Shamal Miah.
Equivalent Line Pvt LTD won by 41 runs.

JOLLY BOYS v FRIENDS MALDIVES PVT LTD
This Group B fixture got underway with the Friends Team batting first and posting a low 81/5 from 8 Overs. Mohamed Shameem top scoring with 12.
In reply, Jolly Boys were rocked by the accuracy and skill of the Friends bowlers with no batsman scoring more than 8.
Wickets tumbled with all the bowlers grabbing at least one wicket. In the end, Jolly Boys reached 51/6, 30 runs short of the target.
Friends Maldives PVT LTD won by 30 runs.
LANKA DIESEL SERVICES v DHIRHAM TRADING
Lanka Diesel Services couldn’t make it 3 wins out of 3 in Group C as they succumbed to a good all-round batting peformance from Dhirham Trading.
Batting first, Dhirham batsman Mehedi Hassan 25, Roman Miah 19, Saidul Islam 34 and Krishna 31 brought their team to a total of 122 runs.
In reply, LDS lost early wickets and only Sampath Dinesh and Amila Ahin troubled the scorers. LDS limped to 87 All-Out.
Dhirham Trading won by 36 runs.
