Thank you Vice President H.E. Faisal Naseem for gracing the U16 Boys National Squad capping ceremony today. This will definitely boost the young players motivation ahead of their participation in the Asian Cricket Council Boys U16 East Zone Cup to held in Malaysia later this month.

U16s Coach Riyaz Rasheed accompanied the 14 selected players along with the Cricket Board of Maldives President Mohamed Faisal and Vice President Ahmed Hussain.
Thank you to the parents and friends that were present today and for their sacrifices and support towards the players.
The first international tournament available for our U16 Boys to participate in since 2019 will be held from 24 June to 5 July in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Matches will be played at YSD-UKM Oval and at the Bayuemas Oval. Matches will be played between Malaysia, Maldives, Singapore, Hong Kong, Nepal, Thailand and Indonesia.
