The Maldives Men’s National Team depart for Oman this morning to participate in the Asian Cricket Council T20 Western Region 2018/19 Tournament playing against Bahrain, Kuwait, U.A.E. and Saudi Arabia.

Head Coach Asif Khan leads the squad in his first competitive tournament in the role having previously led the squad on practice tours to Sri Lanka, Pakistan and most recently to Qatar just days before this tournament, originally scheduled to be played in Kuwait was cancelled due to logistical problems faced by the local authorities.
