GRAND FINAL – Fuvahmulah Cricket Academy win the Premier T20 Cricket League 2019.
A superb and tense finish in the Final Match of this years Fuvahmulah T20 Men’s League saw the winners crowned on the very last ball of the match.
After winning the toss, Sporting Club chose to bat first and scored a reasonable 115 runs for 9 wickets off 20 overs. Raid taking 5 wickets for Afun Team.
In reply, FCA lost Shauf early on when he tried to go big over cow corner. Fellow opener, Azin Rafeeq kept the chase going with a patient 43. However, wickets tumbled late on and it was Hassan Mutheeu and Mohamed Jushan that saw the 116 home with 2 runs required from the final ball.
Jubilant scenes as the home team took the Champions title back.
