BT v NERAGANDO HUT

Batting first, Neragandho Hut lost Azin first ball as he skied a short ball. Jinan Jaleel played out of his skin as he hit a career best 21 from 19 balls.
Others chipped in to make a healthy total of 71.

In reply, BT struggled to chase the target, only Ahmed Fareed and Ismail Rafeeq hit boundaries. Raai was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets for just 3 runs, Nawaaf also bagged himself 2 wickets.

Neragando Hut won by 24 runs.


KOI KINGS v KOI HUNTERS

Koi Hunters won the toss and chose to field first. Kings national team player Yaneeu was out for 4. Wickets tumbled as the Koi Kings battled to post a target of just 22 for the Hunters to chase.

In reply, Hunters lost an early wicket in the first Over. But easily won in no-time.

Koi Hunters won by 6 wickets.

BT v KOI KINGS

The mature team of BT Betters batted first and Yazeel looked good with a quick 10 runs before retiring as the team scored 42 from 6 Overs.
2 wickets for yaneeu helped keep the target required down.

In reply, Koi Kings used 4 batsmen to get to the winning line. Faaidh Rafeeq 13, Shaafee 4 and Aivan 7.

Koi Kings won by 7 wickets.


FUVAHMULAH BOYS v FUVAHMULAH GIRLS

This tournament gives a chance for the juniors to gain some match experience. These two teams are made of players that have come through the Cricket Board of Maldives development programme.

The girls bowled first and the boys, somewhat subdued in batting raised a target of 63 for the girls to chase. Haikal 21 form 18 balls, Zaadh 14 from 12 balls and 2 late run-outs of Maan and Mabsar.

In reply, the girls faced some firey bowling from the boys. Although fast, the bowling was a little wayward and the girls reached 53 all out in the 6th Over.

Fuvahmulah Boys won by 9 runs.


NERAGANDO HUT v FUVAHMULAH BOYS

Batting first, the Fuvahmulah Junior Boys didnt bat aggresively enough to build a good target. Although wickets were scarce, Zaadh 16, Mabsar 15 and Haikal 16 managed to get to 68/1 from 6 Overs.

In reply, Neragando Hut opener Hassan Mutheeu hit a controlled 22 from 16 balls as he steered the team to victory in the 5th Over.

Neragandho Hut won by 7 wickets.


KOI HUNTERS v FUVAHMULAH GIRLS

An exciting match down to the last 2 balls was played second up in todays fixtures.

The Junior Girls won the toss and chose to field first and all looked good as Meesa bowled well, even bowling the ball clear between the stumps – alas, the bails did not fall in the first over.

From the second over, Koi Hunters began to build a good target and finished on 63/2 from 6 Overs. Bowler Maaha snagging the only wicket to fall.

In reply, it was all Maaha again as she saw the match to a finish with 20 not out alongside Aima on 5 not out.

Fuvahmulah Girls won by 7 wickets.
