The six teams were split into two groups;
Group A Wisdom, Accountability & Dignity Group B Respect, Commitment & Insight
It was nice to see discipline in all the captains and they followed the spirit of the game through out the competition.
A total of 6 matches in the group stage were played followed by a semi-final and the Grand Final to complete the event.
The Grand Final was played between Team Accountability and Team Dignity.
Team Accountability won by 5 wickets and crowned CHAMPIONS of the 2023 Bandos Resort Cricket Cup.

Day 3 – Semi Final and Final – 24th April 2023
First Semi Final
Dignity vs Commitment – Dignity win by 7 wickets.
Dignity win toss and elected to field. Commitment 5 overs 60 runs without loosing a wicket. Foran 24 off 11 balls and Jineesh 23 off 14 balls.
In reply Dignity smashed 61 in 4 overs without loosing a wicket. Niranga Madushan scored tournament highest individual score 35 off just 10 balls at a strike rate 350. Player of the match – Niranga Madushan – Dignity.
Second Semi Final
Respect vs Accountability – Accountability win by 7 wickets.
Winning toss Accountability decided to field. Respect socred 53 runs loosing 2 wickets in the allocated 5 overs. Captain Katihick Ramar socored 24 in 6 balls & Harish Paliwal 15 runs. In reply Accountability scored 56 without loosing a wicket. Jewel Mallafaiy 14 and top score from Lakshan Malevin 27 in 9 balls.

GRAND FINAL
Played at Bandos Ground on 24th April 2023.
Teams: Accountability vs Dignity – Accountability win by 7 wickets.
Umpires: Imad Ismail, Kumar and Scorer: Naahil
Accountability win toss and elected to Filed. Dignity lost key wicket in the 2nd over, Deepak bowled by jewel and unfortunate run out for Niranga Madushan. Jewel kept his cool and scored 27 runs in 12 balls to help dignity to 51 for loss of 3 wicket in allocated 5 overs.
In reply, Accountability started well Jewel smashing first 3 balls to six. After Jewel wicket Accountability was kept on back foot with a good line and length bowling from Dignity. Accountability require 8 runs in the last over. Lakshan Melvin scoring a handsome six over mid on for a six to end the game.
