Cricket for all
Rehendi School in Hulhumalé and the Cricket Board of Maldives organised a Cricket Carnival for the Grade 4 Pupils.
The event was conducted by the school physical education teachers, class teachers and cricket coaches from CBM.
Six classes of Grade 4 girls and boys took part, approximately 180 participants played different activities each focussed on a part of cricket.
Activities
1. Running between wickets;
2. Hitting Target;
3. Catching high / Catching high;
4. Bowling;
5. Fielding
6. Target Batting.
The CBM extends a warm appreciation of the commitment shown by Rehendhi School in providing this opportunity to the children.
We look forward to building closer relationships and offering more and more opportunities for the youngsters to experience cricket.
