The Cricket Board of Maldives elections for President, Vice President and Executive Committee members for the next 4 years took place on 26th September 2020 at the Maldives Centre for Social Education in Malé.
Mohamed Faisal won overwhelming support today taking all votes to become the new President.
Ahmed Hussain gained the seat of Vice President with a majority and there were 7 ‘EXCO’ seats contested and won respectively.
At the conclusion of the formalities, Mr Faisal spoke to those present that he ‘looks forward to working very closely with everyone to enhance and deepen cricket development by attracting more players, strengthening clubs and producing outstanding cricketers’.
