The Cricket Board of Maldives, Ministry of Youth, Sports & Community Empowerment together with the Embassy of India proudly welcome an Air India Team to play two matches today against teams comprising of the His Excellency The President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, His Excellency Vice President Faisal Naseem, Minister Ahmed Mahloof and the Maldives Men’s National Cricket Squad.
The Air India team will be represented by Indian Superstars Yuvraj & Harbajan Singh along with stars from the Indian Premier League.
Minister for Youth, Sports & Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof and CBM President Mohamed Aflah greeted the arrival of the squad at Velana International Airport on Thursday afternoon.
Matches begin at 8am (T10) and 2pm (T20) at Ekuveni Cricket Ground, Malé. Preparations have been ongoing this week to welcome the teams and to ensure a fun, friendly and exciting day of cricket is seen.
Attendance is free, so use this opportunity to come and watch some of the finest players in Maldives and in Asia live for the first time.

This is the latest of a number of cricket events and opportunities created by developing relationships between the Cricket Board of Maldives and our grand cricketing neighbours in Asia. These efforts of the CBM President, Executive Committee and Staff are geared towards the development and growth of Cricket around our nation.
