The long serving player, organiser and good friend of all involved in cricket here, Mr. Ishan Jayakody, has decided to up-sticks and move away from the Maldives.
As part of his ‘Farewell Celebrations’ close friends and players organised a 1 day tournament in his honour and played 6 group matches between 4 teams and a grand Final, which was won by Friends XI.

Ishan represented Maldives National Team in 2 International Tournaments and has played for many years here in all the Domestic Tournaments, latterly being a stalwart in the Sri Lanka High Commission Cricket Club.
