Iskandhar stopped Muhyiddin’s winning streak in school cricket beating them by 62 runs in the final of the Philips School League U15 on Sunday.
Iskandhar continued their excellent form in the tournament in the final match, batting first and scoring 138 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Aziyan Yoosuf backed up his scintillating run in the tournament making 42 runs. He was backed up well by Lamman (20 runs). Adam Nasif took 2 wickets for 17 runs for Muhyiddin.
In reply, Muhyiddin lost their talismanic batsman Adam Nasif at the top of the innings and were not able to keep up with the required run rate. They were ultimately bowled out in the 14th over for 76 runs. Aziyan Yoosuf shined with the ball as well taking 4 wickets for Iskandhar.
The award ceremony for the tournament will be held at the end of the over 15 tournament.
