C.B.L. Sports and Vyansa declared Joint Winners as play is abandoned during the Final match of this years Jumhooree T20 Premier League after just 5 balls bowled.

The match started on time at 2pm but due to rain the players came off after just 5 balls bowled. Winning the toss, C.B.L. Sports decided to field on a cloudy day and put Vyansa in to bat. Opener Dulan hammered the first ball of the match over point for four but next ball he was caught by Mohamed Shiyam at third-man taking a very low and good catch. The other opener. Roshan managed to face two balls before wicket keeper Haziq took an easy catchwith a glance off Roshans gloves. So the bowler, Dinusha Fenando took two wickets in five balls. Then the heavens opened and heavy rain forced the players off at 4/2 in 5 balls.
The umpires, committee members and ground staff prepared the wicket twice in an effort to resume the game again but were unable to play any further. The Umpires called off the match at just after 4pm.
Awards were distributed by Cricket Board of Maldives president Mr. Mohamed Aflah and Deputy Minister of Ministry of home affairs Mr. Mohamed Tholal.
