One of the Cricket Board of Maldives most welcomed tournaments of the cricket calendar is scheduled to begin on 11th October when 4 teams consisting of the finest under 25 age group players will play a 12 match T20 league tournament.
It is the first time that a league format has been used for the U25 Tournament and the reason for the change is to guarantee more game time for this group of talented youngsters. Each team will play each other twice with 1 game a day on weekdays and 2 games on Friday and 2 games on Saturday; with the last match being played at 2pm on Tuesday 20th October.
