Tournament Standings after Group Stage
The Maldives Men’s National Team travelled to Oman in January 2019 to participate in the delayed Asian Cricket Council T20 Western Region 2018/19 Tournament playing against Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Head Coach Asif Khan led the squad in his first competitive tournament having previously led the squad on practice tours to Sri Lanka, Pakistan and most recently to Qatar just days before this tournament, originally scheduled to be played in Kuwait was cancelled due to logistical problems faced by the local authorities.
