The 13th edition of the South Asian Games is all set to kick off from the 1st of December 2019 and will culminate on 10th December 2019. The 2019 South Asian Games will be held in Nepal with Kathmandu hosting the Men’s T20 Cricket and Pokhara hosting the Women’s T20 Cricket.
This tournament is extra special for Maldives cricket, Maldives sports and women’s sports as the first ever Maldives National Women’s cricket team play their first competetive matches. It’s a proud moment for Maldives cricket and for the sports community of Maldives.
The Women’s T20 Cricket begins on Monday 2nd December as they line up against host nation, Nepal.
The Men’s T20 Cricket begins on December 3rd with Maldives playing their first match on 4th December against Bangladesh.
All games will be classed as International Cricket Council (ICC) global ranking T20 fixtures.
